St.Pr.St. Djambalaya

Djambalaya was bred by me and was born in 2002.
She is darkbay with a blaze and three white legs.
She resembles her mother a lot hence her nickname "little Paula". In comparision to her mother she is a breeding progress. She has three very good gaits and lots of freedom of the shoulder. In addition she has an adorable face.
At the end of April 2005 she was inspected for the Hanoverian Verband. Her swing and elasticity were judged with a nine ! She was selected to take part at the mare show in Aurich where she later on received a 1A prize which made her States Premium Candidate.
She passed her mare performance test in June 2005 and received a 8,33 for gaits !
I had her close to where I live for 6 weeks and rode her almost every day lightly. She is very easy to ride and I had lots of fun.
As she has foaled end of January 2006 by Samarant. She has therefore completed all the requirements for her States Premium title. This means that she is number six in a row of States Premium Mares in the damline, which is not often archieved !
She will not be bred back for now and is now again my riding horse since autumn 2006 in Hannover.
In the meantime she is also ridden over jumps and I am awaiting her first riding show. we took her to an in hand show of Breeding Club Burgdorf so that she could get a feeling for a different atmosphere. She surprised us all and not only won her class but became Championmare !
